Royal Insider Reveals Prince William's Thoughts on Meghan Markle's Recent Bombshell Article
Prince William is reportedly feeling a sense of relief for having been cautious when looking into allegations that Meghan Markle bullied her staff during her time at the Palace.
Back in March 2021, Buckingham Palace initiated an internal investigation following claims that the Duchess of Sussex had mistreated her employees.
According to a new report, Prince William was at the forefront of the investigation. However, the results of this probe were kept confidential after Meghan referred to it as an "attack on her character."
"William wanted to protect the staff members who had come forward," a source told *New Idea Magazine* about William's decision to keep the findings private. "But it was also about protecting himself."
Recently, an article by *Vanity Fair* resurfaced old tensions for Meghan, publishing a harsh piece that labeled her a “mean girl.” The article featured an ex-employee of the Duchess, who claimed that staff members were “thrown to the wolves” while working for her and needed "long-term therapy" after leaving her employment.
In the wake of this article, sources say that Prince William is feeling reassured by his cautious approach to the investigation into Meghan's behavior.
“It’s no secret that he and Meghan didn’t see eye to eye,” the royal insider shared. “William can't help but feel vindicated in having been careful with the investigation.”
"William doesn’t take any pleasure in seeing these allegations go public," the insider continued. "But he feels that, given the circumstances, he made the right decision regarding Meghan and was right to proceed with caution."
