Kensington Palace Shares Prince William's New Picture with Important Message
Prince William, who visited Earthshot Prize Finalist NatureMetrics on Wednesday, made an exciting announcement about a major investment—just hours after receiving the joyful news of his cousin Princess Beatrice's baby.
Kensington Palace released striking images of the future King alongside a significant message: "Excited to catch up with 2024 @earthshotprize Finalists @naturemetrics today, who have been backed by a $25M investment, supported by The Earthshot Prize’s investment matchmaking platform Launchpad."
The statement continued: "This growth capital will help NatureMetrics’s innovation scale globally, contributing to the protection of ecosystems worldwide. It was a fascinating morning learning how their environmental DNA technology maps biodiversity, helping organizations make smarter, more sustainable choices."
This comes after the Prince of Wales made a surprise visit to Guildford on January 29 to stop by NatureMetrics, a company that helps businesses measure and report on their impact on nature and ecosystems.
William appeared in high spirits during the visit, playfully squirting pond water at journalists alongside local schoolchildren. In another post shared on the official social media accounts of the Prince and Princess of Wales, he was seen extracting DNA from a strawberry.
