Prince Harry's Chances of Reuniting with the Royal Family Appear Slim, Expert Claims
Prince Harry seems to have little to no chance of reconciling with the Royal Family, according to a royal expert.
The Duke of Sussex, who is set to visit the UK next month, has opted to stay at a hotel rather than accept an invitation to stay at Buckingham Palace. This decision, the expert claims, could further distance him from his family.
In an interview with *Mirror*, former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond stated, “It seems like a PR mistake to turn down an offer to stay at Buckingham Palace, where security is guaranteed and already arranged. It’s unreasonable to expect police protection around a hotel when a perfectly secure accommodation has been offered.”
She continued, “I still don’t think Harry would feel comfortable bringing Meghan and the children back unless there’s a guarantee of full police protection. And frankly, I suspect Meghan has no desire to return either.”
Discussing the possibility of Harry and Meghan reconciling with the Royal Family, Bond remarked, “I think we’ve stopped expecting any sort of meeting between Harry and his family when he’s in the UK. I imagine his time will be dominated by his court case. If there’s any possibility of him seeing his father, it might happen, but it seems unlikely.”
Bond concluded, “However, there’s absolutely no sign of any reconciliation between Harry and William, so any meeting between them seems extremely unlikely.”
