Meghan Markle Caught Copying Princess Catherine with ‘Fake’ Mood Board

Meghan Markle Caught Copying Princess Catherine with ‘Fake’ Mood Board

Just when we thought Meghan Markle had exhausted her repertoire of “inspirations” (read: blatant imitations), she graced Instagram with a vision board for her upcoming *As Ever* lifestyle brand. Because, apparently, she needs to remind us all that she’s just like Diana, Catherine, and every other royal she desperately wishes she could emulate.

For her third Instagram appearance this week, Meghan unveiled a meticulously curated mood board featuring never-before-seen pictures, handwritten notes, and a watercolor painting of herself, Prince Harry, and her dearly departed dog, Guy. But let’s be real—the true star of this staged masterpiece wasn’t Meghan’s artistic prowess. It was her latest attempt at mimicking Princess Diana and the Princess of Wales, Catherine. After all, no Meghan Markle production is complete without a healthy dose of eyebrow-raising coincidence.

Eagle-eyed social media users quickly pointed out that the board featured a green star with her son Archie’s name—mere days after Catherine shared artwork from her children. Naturally, the internet had thoughts.

One unimpressed observer quipped, *“Don’t forget the real reason she posted that was to show Archie’s artwork since Catherine put out her kids’ artwork the other day. She’s so predictable—as ever, a copycat.”* Another chimed in, *“She had to get a kid’s drawing in there, copying Princess Catherine again. It doesn’t end.”*

It doesn’t end there. The pièce de résistance of Meghan’s mood board? A sketch that social media sleuths claim is eerily similar to a real-life photograph of the Prince and Princess of Wales—right down to the outfits. Because nothing says “I’m my own woman” like meticulously recreating someone else’s life and slapping your own name on it.

And here’s where it gets downright creepy. Commenters didn’t just call out the uncanny similarities—they went full conspiracy mode. One particularly alarmed user stated, *“This is stalker material. She is extremely unwell—very, very unwell. No wonder the Prince and Princess don’t want anything to do with her. I also expect they’re very concerned for Harry’s safety. This is totally unhinged.”*

Others were equally perplexed by the bizarre fixation. *“Imagine that one of your friends made and showcased a drawing of herself and her husband, obviously inspired by a photo of you and your husband. That is toxic and bizarre,”* one user wrote. Another agreed, *“She wants to be Catherine and have a daughter like Charlotte—even though Meghan would be forever jealous of her own child.”*

At this point, one has to wonder: Does Meghan think the world doesn’t notice? Or does she truly believe that this level of mimicry is normal behavior? Maybe she’s playing the long game, waiting for the day when she finally morphs into Catherine, slipping seamlessly into her life while we all pretend not to notice.

Regardless, it’s safe to say that her *As Ever* brand launch is already off to an “inspired” start—and by “inspired,” we mean lifted directly from her longtime obsession with the real-life royals.

“Meghan Markle,” “Catherine Princess of Wales,” “Instagram mood board,” and “copycat controversy” strategically placed throughout.
