Meghan Markle Accused of Stealing Prince Harry’s Spotlight with Personal PR
Meghan Markle is once again facing criticism for allegedly shifting the focus onto herself during the Invictus Games, overshadowing Prince Harry.
The Duchess of Sussex, who accompanied her husband to Vancouver for a three-day appearance at the event, is being accused of using the platform for her own public relations efforts rather than supporting the athletes.
Former Home Office Minister Norman Baker weighed in on *The Sun’s Royal Exclusive* show, stating:
> *“It looked kind of like the Meghan show. It seems like she was trying to turn the spotlight onto herself rather than keeping the focus on the athletes.”*
Baker further suggested that Meghan appeared to dominate the event, positioning herself at center stage, even more so than Prince Harry.
> *“She was making sure she remained in the spotlight more than Harry himself,”* he added.
Drawing a comparison to another high-profile couple, Baker remarked:
> *“It’s somewhat reminiscent of John and Yoko, in terms of who is really running the show. Their dynamic is quite interesting.”*
Prince Harry stepped away from royal duties in 2020, relocating to California with Meghan Markle and their son, Prince Archie. The couple later made explosive claims against the Royal Family, alleging instances of racism and sharing their grievances in a series of high-profile interviews. They have since built a new life in the U.S., where they also welcomed their daughter, Princess Lilibet.
