Meghan Markle REJECTED by Oscars Committee – No Chance as Presenter!

Meghan Markle REJECTED by Oscars Committee – No Chance as Presenter!

Award season—that magical time of year when Hollywood’s elite don their most extravagant borrowed outfits, pat each other on the back for simply existing, and walk away with swag bags worth more than most people’s annual salaries. Yet, amidst all the glitz and glamour, there’s one name conspicuously missing from the 2025 Academy Awards presenter lineup: Megan Markle.

Megan Markle not being invited to the Oscars is about as surprising as the sun rising in the east. The Oscars are, after all, an event for movie people—actual actors, directors, and industry professionals—not a former cable TV actress turned self-proclaimed victim. But that hasn’t stopped her from allegedly trying to claw her way into the ceremony. Because, of course, she did.

The Academy recently unveiled its final list of Oscar presenters, and it’s packed with Hollywood heavyweights. Names like Harrison Ford, Samuel L. Jackson, Scarlett Johansson, and Oprah Winfrey (yes, Megan’s former confidante) are all set to grace the stage. Even Rachel Zegler, who’s been swimming in controversy lately, made the cut. But Megan? Nowhere to be seen.

Let’s be honest: Megan has never been an Oscar presenter, never attended the Oscars, and has never starred in a film that truly mattered. Her only notable movie credit was a small role in a Hallmark-level rom-com from years ago—hardly the kind of resume that earns you a prime-time slot at the industry’s biggest night. Yet, rumors suggest she pitched herself for a special segment where, as a Los Angeles native, she would deliver a heartfelt message about California’s wildfires.

Yes, you read that right. Because when Hollywood’s finest gather to celebrate their biggest achievements, what they really need is a lecture from Megan Markle about climate change. Thankfully, the Academy reportedly shut down the idea faster than Netflix canceled *Pearl*.

Megan’s obsession with the Oscars isn’t about movies, artistry, or even recognition—it’s about status. She desperately wants to be seen as an A-lister, rubbing elbows with Hollywood’s elite. But the truth is, no one in Tinseltown seems eager to associate with her. Even Oprah, who once gave Megan and Harry a massive PR boost with that infamous interview, didn’t extend an invite this time. That’s how far she’s fallen.

Of course, Megan’s PR machine is always working overtime. Her absence from the Oscars will undoubtedly be spun into some dramatic narrative. Maybe she’ll claim she had to stay home for the kids (the ones we never see). Maybe she’ll say she turned down an invite. Or perhaps she’ll blame the snub on the Crown for making the royal family too popular again.

If there’s one thing Megan has inadvertently accomplished, it’s exposing just how fake Hollywood can be. The Oscars are a self-congratulatory festival of excess, where millionaires give each other golden statues and pretend they’re changing the world. In many ways, Megan should fit right in. But even in an industry built on image and illusion, she’s too much. She sucks the oxygen out of every room she enters and turns every opportunity into a chance to make it about herself.

In a sea of egos, grifters, and PR-fueled nonsense, even Hollywood has standards. And apparently, Megan Markle doesn’t meet them. Maybe next year, Megs? Oh, who are we kidding—not a chance.
