Meghan Markle’s Shocking Response After Netflix Drama Flops—Total Failure?

Meghan Markle’s Shocking Response After Netflix Drama Flops—Total Failure?

It’s February 16, 2025, and the Meghan Markle drama continues to unfold. Ever since the chaos erupted at Netflix headquarters involving CEO Greg Peters, executives, and the board of directors, tensions have been rising. One by one, key figures at Netflix are turning against Meghan due to the growing backlash surrounding her upcoming series, *With Love, Meghan*, set for release in early March. But that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

What’s truly fascinating is how Meghan’s backup plans are crumbling as her Netflix deal goes sour. It’s no secret that Meghan is desperately trying to expand her career and find new avenues to stay relevant. But let’s be honest—Meghan Markle is self-absorbed, narcissistic, and, above all, greedy. These traits have become increasingly evident, especially after her controversial photo op at the LA fires, which she allegedly tried to use as an intro for *With Love, Meghan*. Even Netflix’s board of directors found that move too much to stomach.

The fallout doesn’t stop there. Studios are dropping Meghan like dominoes, shying away from her as her reputation continues to nosedive. This marks the beginning of the end for Meghan Markle’s time in the limelight, both as a so-called actress and as a champion of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). Her push for DEI is now being outright blocked, and her career is unraveling faster than ever.

One of the most significant developments in this saga involves Meghan’s erratic behavior after being canceled from a major deal with Carnival Cruise Lines. She was set to earn $10.5 million for a series of 20 commercials to be filmed throughout 2025 and released in 2026. However, the deal fell apart when Meghan began making unreasonable demands. She insisted on promoting diversity in the commercials to an extreme degree, demanding that all actors and extras be hired exclusively through DEI initiatives.

Her controlling behavior didn’t stop there. Meghan also wanted to change the scenery of the commercials and demanded a higher payout of $15 million instead of the agreed $10.5 million. When the studios refused, she accused them of discrimination based on her ethnicity. This was the final straw, and Carnival Cruise Lines promptly canceled the deal.

Let’s be clear: Meghan’s backup plan has always been commercials. If movie roles, cameos, or voiceover opportunities fell through, commercials were her safety net. But even that safety net is now failing her. Studios are becoming wary of her diva-like behavior and her tendency to blame others when things don’t go her way.

The ripple effect of her Netflix drama is spreading. Other studios are canceling plans with Meghan after learning about her conflicts with Netflix executives. Her backup plan is vanishing week by week, and her career is in freefall. Even her pre-planned appearance at the launch of a new Carnival ship in 2026 or 2027 has been canceled.

What’s particularly striking is how Meghan’s behavior mirrors that of other actors-turned-activists who push DEI narratives too hard, often at the expense of creativity and collaboration. Meghan’s attempts to control every aspect of the Carnival commercials—despite having no role as a director, producer, or writer—highlight her inability to work within the boundaries of her actual job.

The marketing teams at Carnival also noted that Meghan rehearsed the commercials in an inauthentic way, which they believed would damage their brand. Combined with her controversial LA fires photo op, it’s no wonder the deal fell apart.

As Meghan’s career continues to crumble, it’s clear that her time in the spotlight is over. Her irrelevance in 2025 is a stark contrast to her brief moment of fame on *Suits*. The ship has sailed, and Meghan Markle is no longer a player in show business—or even in commercials.

With *With Love, Meghan* set to release in just a few weeks, it’ll be interesting to see how Netflix handles the fallout. Subscribers are already leaving in droves, and the metrics don’t look good.
