Patrick J. Adams Sparks Buzz by Praising Sarah as His Best Scene Partner, Overshadowing Meghan Markle

Meghan Markle Once Again Left Out of the Suits Universe

Nearly 15 years have passed since the debut of Suits, where Meghan Markle played the role of Rachel Zane. While recent cast reunions have sparked excitement among fans, Meghan Markle has been notably absent from the spotlight.

In a recent announcement, Patrick J. Adams, who portrayed Mike Ross, and Sarah Rafferty, known for her role as Donna Paulsen, revealed plans for a new Suits rewatch podcast.

This upcoming series, produced by SiriusXM, will take a deep dive into each episode, offering fans behind-the-scenes insights into the show’s production. However, Meghan will not be participating in the project.

The podcast draws comparisons to popular rewatch shows like Office Ladies and Parks and Recollection. Patrick and Sarah plan to feature special guests, including former cast members, crew, and even fans.

Sharing the news on Instagram, Patrick wrote:

"I’ve never actually watched Suits. I’ve only seen a handful of episodes because watching it while we were making it got in my head and made me overly self-critical. So, I just stepped back. But this summer, seeing so many people rediscover the show made me realize I’d be crazy not to go back and reflect on those years filled with laughter, tears, early mornings, and long nights."

He added, "I can’t imagine doing this with anyone other than Sarah Rafferty, my sister from another mister and the best scene partner you could ever hope for."

Patrick expressed gratitude to the team behind the podcast, saying there’s much more to come:

"Big thanks to @kikish, @thosegruper, and @aab for fighting to make this real, and to the amazing team at SiriusXM who welcomed us with open arms."

Patrick’s heartfelt praise for Sarah as his ultimate scene partner has raised eyebrows, as some speculate that Meghan might feel sidelined. Sarah Rafferty’s strength as a scene partner reportedly comes from her deep focus on the work itself, engaging fully without distraction. In contrast, the absence of camaraderie between Meghan and her former co-stars hints at a more distant dynamic, suggesting Meghan’s connection to the cast faded after her royal transition.

Since its premiere on June 23, 2011, Suits has found a new wave of popularity, especially after becoming available on Netflix and Peacock in mid-2023. The show dominated Nielsen ratings for 12 consecutive weeks, becoming one of Netflix’s most-watched acquired series.

Adding to the speculation, Meghan was noticeably absent from the Suits cast reunion at the Golden Globes on January 7. When asked about it, Gina Torres told Variety, "It’s hard to reach out to Meghan—we don’t have her number. We just don’t."

Patrick J. Adams echoed this sentiment, admitting that he also has no communication with Meghan.
