Prince Harry Sends Meghan Markle Home for Solo Time—What’s Going On?

Prince Harry Sends Meghan Markle Home for Solo Time—What’s Going On?

Meghan Markle Returns to the U.S. After Four Days with Prince Harry at Invictus Games

Meghan Markle has flown back to California after spending four days with Prince Harry at the 2025 Invictus Games in Canada. While the Duchess of Sussex returned home to be with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, Harry is set to enjoy some solo time before the event’s closing ceremony this weekend.

Royal commentator Sarah-Louise Robertson has sparked speculation about the couple’s dynamic during their time in Canada. Speaking with *GB News*, Robertson claimed that Harry appeared “unhappy” with Meghan’s overly affectionate behavior during their public appearances.

“Meghan was clingy, with over-the-top public displays of affection—constantly kissing his face and holding onto him,” Robertson explained. “At times, Harry looked like he just wanted to be left alone for five minutes.”

The commentator suggested that Harry might be relieved to have some time to himself now that Meghan has returned to the U.S. “He’s having a day off now,” she said. “You’d think if they were so loved up, they’d want to spend that day off together. But instead, he’s enjoying some solo time, reportedly skiing and relaxing at his five-star hotel before the closing ceremony.”

Meghan’s decision to leave the Invictus Games early has raised eyebrows. While her spokesperson cited her desire to be with their children as the reason for her departure, some believe there may be more to the story. Robertson’s comments about Harry’s apparent discomfort with Meghan’s behavior have fueled rumors of underlying tension between the couple.

With Meghan back in California, Harry is set to enjoy a well-deserved break. The Duke of Sussex has been deeply involved in the Invictus Games, an event he founded in 2014 to support wounded veterans. However, the pressure of public appearances and media scrutiny can be exhausting, and it seems Harry is looking forward to some downtime.

“He’s having a day off to himself,” Robertson noted. “It’s a chance for him to recharge before the closing ceremony this weekend.”

Meghan’s frequent displays of affection during the Invictus Games have drawn mixed reactions. While some saw it as a sign of their strong bond, others, like Robertson, viewed it as excessive and potentially overwhelming for Harry.

“It’s clear that Harry values his independence,” Robertson added. “Meghan’s constant need to be close to him in public might have been too much. Now that she’s gone, he can finally relax and focus on himself.”

As the Invictus Games draw to a close, all eyes will be on Prince Harry as he prepares for the closing ceremony. Meanwhile, Meghan’s early departure has left many wondering about the state of their relationship. Are they as “loved up” as they appear, or are there cracks beginning to show?

For now, Harry seems content to enjoy some solo time, while Meghan focuses on their children in California. Whether this separation is a sign of trouble or simply a practical decision remains to be seen.
