Prince Harry Said to Be Desperate to See His Father, King Charles
Prince Harry, despite having strained ties with the royal family, still holds a deep affection for his father, King Charles, and his loved ones.
The Duke of Sussex, who found out about the King’s recent short hospital stay through news outlets, is reportedly eager to visit him. Harry last saw his father in early 2024, shortly after King Charles was diagnosed with cancer. Sources say Buckingham Palace has not updated him on the monarch’s latest health developments, leaving the prince in the dark.
Even so, rumors are swirling about a possible trip back to the UK for Harry to check in on his cancer-battling father.
A source close to the Duke shared, “Harry won’t take this lightly. The King is his dad, and he genuinely cares about him and the family. That’s just how he feels.”
“He’s the King’s younger son and naturally worried about his health,” the insider continued. “If the Palace calls, he won’t hesitate to hop on a plane to the UK.”
On the flip side, a different source told *The Sun*, “Harry misses his family so much, but it seems like no one’s talking to him anymore. He’d love to just grab a beer with the lads, but his only mates these days are the husbands of Meghan’s friends.”
Another voice chimed in, “He used to be the spare to William, but now he’s starting to look like a spare to Meghan too. It’s not a good vibe.”
This all comes after King Charles III’s team reportedly decided not to inform Harry about his father’s brief hospitalization. Some speculate the Palace didn’t want to worry the Duke, who’s currently 5,000 miles away.
