Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams has called the move “hypocritical,” arguing that while Meghan and Prince Harry have distanced themselves from the monarchy, she still appears to be leveraging her royal ties when it suits her.
In an interview with Express, Fitzwilliams remarked, "Meghan's letter, which seems designed to showcase her calligraphy skills, includes her monogram in a message directed at an influencer who has been vocal about their disapproval of her cooking show, *With Love, Meghan."
Critics argue that Meghan’s actions come across as contradictory, as she continues to benefit from her royal status despite stepping away from her official duties alongside Prince Harry in 2020.
