Meghan Markle Responds After Father’s Scathing Remarks on Her Netflix Cooking Show
Meghan Markle has broken her silence following explosive comments from her estranged father, Thomas Markle, who recently criticized her newly released Netflix cooking series, With Love, Meghan.
Thomas Markle did not hold back in his remarks, accusing his daughter of being "inauthentic" and claiming she was "faking" her on-screen expressions to appear likable.
"Unfortunately, Meghan has never been authentic. She has to think about everything. She's not spontaneous," he told The Mail.
However, the Duchess of Sussex appeared unbothered by her father’s harsh critique. Instead of addressing his comments, Meghan chose to focus on the positive reception her show has received from viewers.
Taking to Instagram, the Duchess shared clips of fans recreating dishes from her cooking series, highlighting their enthusiasm.
"Love seeing how inspired you are by With Love, Meghan. Keep up the beautiful work!" she captioned the post.
One fan expressed excitement after trying recipes from the show, saying, "Let me tell y'all something. I made @meghan the Duchess of Sussex's menu items from her show With Love, Meghan on @Netflix, and all I’m saying is that everyone loved it!"
Despite the controversy, Meghan’s cooking series officially premiered on March 4, and excitement continues to build as Netflix has already confirmed a second season.
