Meghan Markle Stands Firm on U.S. Life Amid Prince Harry’s Visa Controversy
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry relocated to the United States in 2020 after stepping down as working royals, and despite growing scrutiny over Harry’s immigration status, the Duchess of Sussex has no plans to leave the country, according to a royal commentator.
The debate surrounding Prince Harry’s U.S. visa application has intensified after U.S. federal judge Carl Nichols ruled that key documents related to his immigration process must be made public by Tuesday. The decision has reignited speculation over whether the Duke of Sussex received preferential treatment when settling in America.
Speaking to GB News, royal expert Charlotte Griffiths emphasized that Harry remains unwavering in his commitment to staying close to his children.
“One thing I’ve consistently heard is that Harry will never be away from his kids. He’ll do anything to be with them. Even if his marriage were to end—which I’m not saying it will—he will always stay wherever the children are,” Griffiths stated.
She further noted that Meghan is firmly rooted in her California lifestyle, making it highly unlikely that Harry would relocate elsewhere.
The visa controversy, initially closed in September under President Joe Biden’s administration, has been reignited following Donald Trump’s return to the political stage.
Under the latest court order, the Department of Homeland Security must release redacted versions of Harry’s immigration documents by March 18, 2025.
As anticipation builds over the impending disclosures, questions remain about whether Harry’s visa application followed standard procedures—or if royal status played a role in his approval.
