Meghan Markle Remains Silent Amidst Father’s Latest Criticism
Meghan Markle’s strained relationship with her father, Thomas Markle, continues to make headlines as he once again voices his disapproval of her.
The 80-year-old recently dismissed her latest Netflix project, *With Love, Meghan*, calling it “inauthentic” and claiming he could easily tell when his daughter was putting on an act for the cameras.
The Duchess of Sussex has been estranged from her father since her 2018 wedding to Prince Harry, with their bond only deteriorating further over the years.
In her tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey, Meghan confessed that she felt as though she had “lost” her father, hinting at little possibility of reconciliation.
Psychologist and trauma expert Stefan Walters highlighted the emotional toll of family estrangement, especially when played out under public scrutiny.
Speaking to OK! Magazine, he explained, “Estrangement within families can be incredibly painful, particularly when it remains a topic of discussion in the media. The fact that it keeps surfacing suggests unresolved emotions—whether sadness, anger, or grief. Meghan is likely affected by these emotions as well.”
Despite the ongoing tension, Meghan has chosen to stay silent on her father’s latest remarks.
