Meghan Markle’s Netflix Show Gets Roasted by Comedian: ‘Total Failure!’

Meghan Markle’s Netflix Show Gets Roasted by Comedian: ‘Total Failure!’

Meghan Markle’s new Netflix show, With Love, Meghan, has come under fire yet again—but this time, the criticism is coming from within Netflix itself. A comedian on the streaming giant’s roster recently tore into the series, leaving many to wonder: is Netflix subtly revealing how they really feel about Meghan and her show?

A Netflix Comedian Calls Out Meghan’s ‘Inauthentic’ Show

Comedian Christina P, known for her Netflix specials Mom Genes and Mother Inferior, didn’t hold back when she recently took to TikTok to share her thoughts on With Love, Meghan. In a scathing critique, she said:

“I don’t know what the [expletive] this show is. She’s an actress playing the part of a human being, and it’s not working. The problem from minute one is that she’s trying to be perfect all the time, and it just comes across as inauthentic and not fun.”

Ouch! And Christina isn’t just any comedian—she’s a highly successful stand-up star with a strong presence on Netflix. Her criticism carries weight, and many are now questioning whether the streaming platform itself is using its comedians to express what it really thinks about Meghan’s series.

Meghan’s Attempt to Be ‘Martha Stewart’ Falls Flat

Christina didn’t stop there. She went on to compare Meghan’s efforts to those of the legendary Martha Stewart, highlighting how Meghan’s attempt at a homemaking and lifestyle brand feels completely staged.

“When Martha Stewart came out, people thought, ‘Yeah right, who’s actually making their own beeswax candles?’ But the thing is, Martha Stewart was making them. That’s who she is. But Meghan wants us to believe she’s a beekeeper, making bath salts for her guests, popping popcorn off a real cob, and then drizzling it with truffle oil? Come on!”

The comedian mocked Meghan’s supposed ‘homemaker’ persona, pointing out that most regular people wouldn’t have the time—or the inclination—to create rainbow fruit platters every weekend. And let’s be honest, who casually has truffle oil lying around their kitchen?

Christina also took issue with a segment from the show in which Meghan and a friend reminisce about their days on Suits, painting Meghan as an unstoppable multitasker who somehow balanced acting with running The Tig blog.

“Her friend is like, ‘You mean you were working and then working some more? How did you do it?’ And Meghan just beams, as if she’s some kind of superhuman. It’s just so over-the-top.”

She also pointed out how staged the cooking segments feel, calling out a moment where Meghan’s guest struggles to cut a tomato, injures himself, and then receives a color-coordinated artisanal bandage from Meghan.

“Then she plates up this tiny, ridiculous portion of pasta. Like, an infuriatingly small amount. Because, let’s face it, Meghan’s portions are probably a little different from the rest of us.”

This Isn’t the First Time a Netflix Comedian Has Slammed Meghan

What’s even more interesting is that Christina isn’t the first Netflix comedian to poke fun at Meghan and Harry. Just last month, comedian John Mulaney made headlines at a Netflix event in Los Angeles when he quipped:

“This will be the one place where you might see Arnold Schwarzenegger sitting next to Nicki Glazer sitting next to a family therapist. Not since Harry and Meghan has Netflix given more money to someone without a specific plan.”

The audience reportedly had mixed reactions—some laughed, while others were stunned by how direct the joke was. But one thing is becoming clear: Netflix comedians are not holding back when it comes to calling out the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

With multiple comedians on Netflix’s roster openly mocking Meghan and Harry, one has to wonder—are these just independent jabs, or is the streaming giant subtly signaling how they really feel?

Many are speculating that Netflix, despite its lucrative deal with the Sussexes, may not be entirely thrilled with the couple’s content. Instead of making an official statement, could they be allowing comedians under their umbrella to do the talking for them?

Meghan’s attempt to rebrand herself as a lifestyle guru is being met with widespread skepticism. Between the underwhelming show concept and the brutal roasting from Netflix-affiliated comedians, With Love, Meghan is quickly turning into a PR disaster.
