Take Martha Stewart, for instance. The 83-year-old culinary queen reportedly noticed Meghan recreating one of her classic recipes in the show’s debut episode. In response, Stewart retooled her blog post title to read, “The original and the best!” — a clear jab at Meghan’s move. “Martha’s absolutely livid,” the insider revealed. “A simple shoutout to her as the recipe’s creator could’ve smoothed things over, but now she’s beyond annoyed.”
Then there’s Meghan’s lifestyle brand, As Ever, which is raising eyebrows for mirroring Joanna Gaines’ Magnolia vibe a little too closely. “The look and feel are way too similar,” the source said. “People are buzzing that Meghan’s basically hijacking Gaines’ vision.
