She revealed that her children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, get especially excited when a special guest arrives—someone they lovingly call “auntie.”
Meghan Reveals Archie and Lilibet’s Joyful Reactions to Kadi Lee
The Duchess of Sussex shared that her children absolutely adore visits from Kadi Lee, a well-known hair colorist and co-founder of the wellness salon Highbrow Hippie. “Our kids love auntie Kadi,” Meghan said with a smile. “Their favourite time—they run out when they see your car and scream ‘Kadi!’”
Kadi Lee, who joined Meghan on the podcast alongside her business partner Myka Harris, has clearly formed a close bond with the royal children since Meghan and Prince Harry relocated to California in 2020.
Not a Royal Relative—But Still Very Much 'Auntie'
Interestingly, Meghan wasn’t referring to Kate Middleton or any of the children’s biological aunts. Instead, she highlighted the deep connection her kids have with Kadi, who Meghan affectionately described as a “super aunt.”
Although Kadi doesn’t have children of her own, she’s embraced the role with warmth and enthusiasm, becoming a cherished presence in the lives of Archie and Lilibet.

Since stepping back from royal duties and settling in Montecito, Meghan and Harry have focused on building a peaceful, private life with their children.
