Meghan Markle is reportedly trying to keep her partnership with Netflix alive. She's currently busy working on her new lifestyle brand called “As Ever”, but she’s also being advised to make smart moves to stay relevant in the media world.
A branding expert, Nick Ede, shared his thoughts in an interview with Newsweek. He explained that one way Meghan could strengthen her relationship with Netflix is by signing what's called a “first-look deal.” That means Netflix would get to see and approve her new content ideas before anyone else. It would give them early access, and it helps build a stronger bond between her and the streaming platform.
Ede believes it’s important for Meghan to connect her brand, As Ever, with a strong media presence. While Netflix is a great platform, he also pointed out that YouTube could be a powerful option. YouTube is one of the most watched platforms globally, and starting a YouTube series could give Meghan even more exposure.
Although she might have other paths to explore, the expert thinks it would be smart for her to stay with Netflix. After all, Netflix has played a huge role in boosting both Meghan and Harry’s public profile over the past five years.
