Prince Harry Caught in Ongoing Drama Over Charity Row
Prince Harry might have been officially cleared by the Charity Commission, but the drama surrounding his former charity, Sentebale, is far from over.
The investigation began after serious claims were made by Dr. Sophie Chandauka, who chairs Sentebale. She accused the charity’s leadership — including Harry and former trustees — of bullying and misconduct. But after four months of looking into it, the Charity Commission said there was no proof of widespread bullying or harassment, including allegations of misogyny or racial bias.
Still, the Commission wasn’t happy with how either side behaved. It criticized everyone involved for allowing a damaging internal fight to grow so big that it could hurt the charity’s real purpose: helping the people it was meant to serve.
Even after being cleared, it seems neither side is truly satisfied. According to a report from the Daily Mail, Sentebale might still take further action — possibly through other legal or formal channels — against Prince Harry and the trustees who stepped down earlier this year. The charity even criticized the Commission, claiming they ignored key evidence brought by Dr. Chandauka.
People close to Harry and the original trustees are pushing back. They called the continued complaints "provocative and pitiful," saying the accusations had already been proven false by the investigation.
In the meantime, Sentebale says it’s focused on moving forward and sticking to an action plan to keep doing good work. But behind the scenes, it looks like the bitter row isn’t quite over yet.
