Royal Family Unbothered as Prince Harry, Meghan Markle Face New UK Update
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have once again found themselves at the center of royal drama, thanks to a recent update from the UK that may not sit well with them.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been on shaky ground with the royal family since they stepped down from royal duties back in 2020. Between Harry’s explosive memoir Spare and their headline-grabbing Oprah interview, the couple has openly discussed their royal struggles—and it's no secret that King Charles and Prince William weren’t happy about it.
Now, there’s speculation that Harry could release a second part of his memoir, and Meghan might also be planning to speak out about her time as a working royal. While that might sound like a big deal, the reaction from the royal family is not what some might expect.
According to royal expert Jack Royston, the royal family is no longer “afraid” of whatever Harry and Meghan may reveal next. Speaking with The Sun, he explained that public opinion has shifted dramatically. Many people in the UK—and even in the US—now see the couple more as villains than victims.
Jack believes their earlier interviews, especially the Oprah one, came off as overly aggressive and possibly even damaging. He suggests that even if the couple is holding onto more bombshell revelations, it no longer matters as much because the public is no longer on their side.
In fact, he said the royal family sees Harry and Meghan’s past attacks as "unexploded bombs" that no longer pose a real threat.
While Harry and Meghan may still have stories to tell, the royal family seems unshaken. The once-powerful impact of their revelations appears to have faded, especially in the eyes of the British public.
