She was one of the most hounded women by the press, and hardly a week went by without her gracing the cover of some newspaper or magazine. But since Meghan Markle and Prince Harry moved to the United States, the Duchess of Sussex has rarely managed to capture public attention. For some time now, she has maintained a lifestyle as discreet as her position allows, time she has used to prepare her next steps toward returning to the forefront.
The daughter-in-law of King Charles III is immersed in the launch of American Riviera Orchard, a brand under which she will market various products related to wellness, food, and home goods, and whose launch has been delayed more than expected. Some claim she has faced several setbacks and even struggled to find investors interested in the idea, but it seems she now has everything in place and is ready to launch in 2026.
This is according to the American website "Page Six," which reports that during these months of staying out of the public eye, Markle has been focused on launching her most personal project: "She's been playing her cards close to her chest, but I can tell you that she is the CEO of American Riviera Orchard, so all those rumors about her difficulty finding a CEO are false."
But the new projects the Duchess of Sussex has planned for 2026 aren't limited to the commercialization of ARO; she's also preparing a new show with an old acquaintance, Netflix, the company with which she signed a multi-million dollar collaboration agreement.
“Meghan has been working behind the scenes on her business ventures. Both the Netflix project and her brand will launch simultaneously in the new year,” says the source cited above.
Meghan Markle’s new show for the streaming giant will focus on “cooking, gardening, and entertaining,” very much in line with the values and areas she now wants to be involved in. For now, not many more details about the project are known, but it could clearly mark the Duchess’s return to the spotlight.
It’s worth remembering that “Harry & Meghan,” the documentary series she starred in alongside her husband, became the platform’s most-watched global premiere and kept them in the public eye for weeks.
