This summer, Queen Letizia of Spain dazzled her admirers by revealing her particularly muscular arms, enhanced by her summer dresses. A close friend of the Queen revealed her secret to the Spanish newspaper El Español: "Letizia has been practicing Iyengar yoga for ten years." This time, it's Meghan Markle's physique that's attracting attention: the Duchess also boasts perfectly sculpted arms and shoulders, so much so that a trainer decided to analyze her fitness routine.
Meghan Markle: A coach reveals his favorite arm exercises
This November, Meghan Markle announced on Instagram the upcoming release of a special season of her Netflix show, With Love, dedicated to the holiday season. To mark the occasion, Prince Harry's wife posed in a stunning emerald silk gown by Galvan London. The halter-neck dress perfectly showcased the toned arms of Archie and Lilibet's mother.
When interviewed by the Daily Mail following the post, stylist Kelly Caira remarked that Meghan was "blessed with a slender figure, beautiful shoulders, and beautiful arms." Based on this observation, personal trainer Andrew Herring shared his tips with the British newspaper on how to achieve the same results as King Charles III's daughter-in-law. The expert explained that going to the gym wasn't necessary and offered a 20-minute at-home workout program, focusing on lateral arm raises with weights to target the deltoids, upward movements, and tricep extensions using a resistance band.
He concluded: "Focus on progressive overload, meaning gradually increasing the weight or repetitions. This is how muscle definition develops. [...] Another tip most people overlook is slowing down the pace with each repetition, especially on the lowering phase. Controlling the movement keeps the muscle under tension longer, which really helps sculpt and define the shoulders and arms. Don't go too fast!"
