Meghan Markle Launches As Ever Collection With Fewer Free Gifts

Meghan Markle appears to be changing her approach when it comes to promoting her lifestyle brand, As Ever, by reducing the number of complimentary gift boxes being sent out for her latest Mother’s Day collection.

Unlike earlier campaigns where she widely distributed branded items across Hollywood, this new rollout has been more selective. Only a small group of recipients were chosen, including her close friends Kelly McKee Zajfen, Heather Dorak, and Today show editor Adrianna Barrionuevo Brach, along with several influencers such as Kristina Zias and Carly.

This marks a noticeable shift from her previous strategy, where her products were frequently sent to a much broader circle of entertainment industry figures.

The latest PR boxes, reportedly valued at around $156, contain luxury items such as chocolates from the Los Angeles-based brand Compartés and scented candles. Adding a personal touch, the candles are inspired by the scents associated with her children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

Meghan also included a handwritten note to recipients, explaining the emotional inspiration behind the fragrances. In her message, she shared that she spent the past year developing the scents so they would reflect meaningful memories connected to her children. The note further expressed gratitude to recipients for welcoming her brand into their homes and being part of their shared experiences and memories.

This new product rollout follows Meghan and Prince Harry’s recent trip to Australia, which drew criticism in some circles over the perceived cost and presentation of their public engagements.
