Prince Harry Faces Criticism Over Alleged ‘Unprofessional’ Behavior at Public Event

Prince Harry has been criticized by a public speaking expert for what was described as “very unprofessional” behavior during his appearance at the High Court.

According to comments shared on BBC Radio 4, the expert highlighted several concerns after observing the Duke of Sussex in court during his ongoing legal proceedings. Andrew Edwards, who was present at the hearing, pointed to Harry’s posture and overall presentation as key issues.

He said the royal appeared noticeably relaxed in a way that, in his view, was not suitable for the setting. Edwards described Harry as “a sloucher,” noting that he was not sitting upright. He also remarked that Harry’s top shirt button was undone and his tie was not properly adjusted.

“I was in the High Court where Harry was speaking,” Edwards explained. “He didn’t sit up straight, he was a sloucher.” He further added, “He didn’t have his top button fastened and he had his tie undone. Very unprofessional.”

The remarks come shortly after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle undertook a non-official visit to Australia, where they attended a series of engagements linked to their ongoing projects. The trip, conducted under significant security arrangements, was in some reports described as resembling a “royal-style” tour.

Royal commentator Jane Moore also weighed in on the couple’s public role, criticizing their continued use of royal titles despite stepping back from official royal duties. Speaking to The Sun, she suggested that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are still leveraging their status for public visibility.

“Milking their ‘Duke and Duchess’ titles for all their worth, the Montecito grifters have just completed a Down Under ‘royal tour’ by any other name,” Moore said.

She went on to reference Queen Elizabeth II’s past stance on their royal roles, recalling her decision that Harry and Meghan could not remain “half-in, half-out” members of the monarchy. Moore added that despite the Queen’s passing, the couple continues to operate in a way she believes keeps them tied to royal branding, stating that “no one seems able, or perhaps willing, to stop them.”
