According to Bell, it is increasingly clear that Harry deeply misses life in Britain. He suggested that the Duke of Sussex longs for his friends, familiar surroundings, and the lifestyle he once had. While acknowledging that California offers comfort and stability, Bell described it as a place that can feel repetitive, with a consistent environment and limited variety outside of the entertainment industry.
In contrast, he highlighted what Harry may still find appealing about the UK, pointing to its cultural diversity, sporting traditions, and strong personal connections. Bell noted that activities such as rugby and other British sports, along with long-standing friendships, remain significant emotional ties for the Duke.
Because of these factors, Bell believes there is little doubt that Harry feels a strong sense of nostalgia for his former life. He also suggested that this emotional pull may be linked to Harry’s reported desire to rebuild his relationship with his father, King Charles III.
The discussion then shifted toward the stability of Harry and Meghan’s marriage, particularly given that it is Meghan’s second marriage. When questioned about divorce statistics and public perception, Bell firmly rejected the idea that separation is likely.
He explained that in American culture, people often go through multiple relationships and marriages as part of what is sometimes described as the pursuit of personal happiness. However, he emphasized that divorce is still emotionally difficult and can have a significant impact on families, especially children.
Bell concluded by noting that while public curiosity about their relationship remains high, the emotional and personal consequences of separation are always complex and deeply challenging.
