In a conversation with Women’s Weekly, the Duchess of Sussex explained that certain outfit choices during her trip naturally reminded her of her acting days. She pointed in particular to her appearance on MasterChef Australia, where she wore a modern yet classic combination from designers Matteau and Camilla and Marc. According to Meghan, the button-down shirt paired with a sleek pencil skirt carried a distinctly “Rachel Zane” feel, echoing her time on the popular legal drama.
She also spoke about the emotional significance of being back in a television studio environment. The setting, she said, brought back memories of her earlier career as an actress, making the experience feel both familiar and sentimental.
Adding a lighthearted detail, Meghan revealed that she opted for an all-black outfit during the shoot as a practical choice. She joked that black felt like the safest option in case of any unexpected spills during filming.
