Piers Morgan Criticizes Harry and Meghan for Sharing Lilibet's Photo Despite Privacy Warnings

In an interview with Woman and Home, the straight-talking journalist referred to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex as his “old friends” and questioned their actions. He pointed out that Harry and Meghan often speak publicly about the importance of privacy and protecting kids from the dangers of social media. Yet, they themselves posted pictures of their five-year-old daughter Lilibet on her birthday for the whole world to see.

“My old friends the Duke and Duchess of Sussex keep preaching to us about privacy and the need to be careful online… and then what did they do?” Morgan said. “They upload photographs of their five-year-old child on social media to billions of people, immediately recognisable.”

He expressed confusion over this contradiction, asking why they lecture others about online safety for children but then put their own daughter in the spotlight.

According to Morgan, this is a clear example of double standards. He advised the couple that if they are going to talk about something so seriously, they should actually follow their own advice instead of doing the exact opposite.

The journalist acknowledged that their fans might see it differently, but for him, it was a glaring inconsistency.
