The Duke of Sussex has faced a series of setbacks, including his significant legal defeat, which could reportedly leave him facing costs of up to £50 million, as well as ongoing criticism over his calls for taxpayer-funded security.
The latest criticism comes from royal commentator Kevin O’Sullivan, who appeared in a segment for Sky News Australia’s YouTube channel, where he delivered a lengthy critique of Prince Harry’s current situation.
During the nearly 13-minute discussion, O’Sullivan questioned Harry’s decisions, criticized his financial position, and suggested that life could become increasingly challenging when money begins to run out.
One part of his commentary focused on the financial struggles facing both Harry and Meghan, as he stated: “Harry needs money. Meghan needs money.”
The commentator also targeted Meghan Markle’s lifestyle brand, As Ever, criticizing its pricing and business prospects. He described the venture as “ridiculous,” claiming it was unlikely to become the success Meghan hoped for.
“That is just a pipe dream that she refuses to accept is never going to work. So, she’s not making any money to speak of,” O’Sullivan reportedly said.
Turning his attention back to Prince Harry, the commentator claimed that the Duke was also facing financial difficulties, particularly following his legal battle and reported losses.
“He certainly isn’t making any money,” O’Sullivan remarked while discussing Harry’s recent challenges, including the fallout from his court case.
The comments have added to the ongoing public debate surrounding Harry and Meghan’s financial future, their business ventures, and their position outside the Royal Family.
