The Portuguese footballer, with his arrival at Juventus, has increased the number of his followers exponentially. Nonetheless, Selena remains the most followed star in show business, despite health problems having forced her to slow down her appearances.
Beloved queen
With 144,505,099 followers, Selena Gomez is the most followed artist on Instagram. The American puts Ariana Grande (139,832,844 followers) and Kim Kardashian (122,826,708) in line. The most followed of all, however, is Cristiano Ronaldo with 149,039,113 fans. What interests fans of the former Disney star is that the health of their darling is returning.

Selena Gomez recently appeared in an Instagram photo posted by actress Bailee Madison, sparking the enthusiasm of her fans. The photo shows the former Disney Channel star, with Bailee and another friend, smiling happily. In a short time, the image reached 341,372 likes. All comments were for the American artist. The affection of her fans shows how, despite her absence from the big stages, Selena is still very much loved.
A difficult year
Selena Gomez has had a difficult year. Since she discovered that she is ill with lupus, an ordeal has begun which now seems to be ending. In September 2017, the American singer underwent a kidney transplant, donated by her best friend Francia Raisa, known to the public for her performance in The Secret Life of an American Teenager. As Gomez herself stated: "I had reached a point of life or death but luckily one of my best friends gave me her kidney and it was the greatest gift of my life and now I'm fine".
To the physical problems, however, other psychological ones have been added. Last October, Selena was transported to a psychiatric clinic for an emotional breakdown.

It took a lot of energy, attention and therapy to get over that particular difficult moment in his life ”. It seems, therefore, that The Queen is Back.
