Kate Middleton and her best Wimbledon looks

The Duchess of Cambridge has been right since 2011 with the dresses that she takes to the tennis championship par excellence

On Sunday, July 14, the 2019 edition of the legendary Grand Slam tournament came to an end, where Novak Djokovic won over Roger Federer. Although Wimbledon is a date for world tennis, Kate Middleton makes that beyond sports, it is also (even a little) a date about fashion because she dazzles with her looks every time she attends a match. Although the Duchess of Cambridge has been right with all the outfits she has worn to the competition over the years, there are a few that stand out as the three she wore in the past month have done. These are the best 8 dresses that Kate Middleton has dazzled in Wimbledon:

The dress she chose for the seventh day of Wimbledon 2011 was a Temperley London above the knee that was anything but the typical white dress that the following years would wear to the tournament. The dress highlighted her figure thanks to the fitted waist and the pleated ruffles on the skirt, which together with the thick straps embroidered with semicircles resulted in the perfect balance between elegance and originality.

Another favorite (although less innovative than the previous one) is the one she wore on the ninth day of Wimbledon 2014. Australian designer Zimmermann's off-white dress turned out to be a very delicate and elegant one that combined floral embroidery with openwork circles of different sizes.

Starting in 2015, Kate opted for a more colorful style and we must say that since then she has hit the mark. What happens is that if the color red is usually a flattering tone for most people, for the Duchess of Cambridge it is even more so. The Cayla model in coral red tone from LK Bennett (one of her favorites) is the one with which she eclipsed the rest of the audience.

At Wimbledon 2016 she left us with two absolute gems to remember. The first (although it was not a premiere) was the yellow Roksanda dress with white panels on the sides of the sleeves and in the lower left third. And the second, a challenging printed dress by Alexander McQueen with floral motifs (mostly) where there were also images of butterflies, gems, lipsticks and even a skull. Of course, the latest great successes correspond to Wimbledon 2019, where expectations have been met (and exceeded) with three fabulous outfits that we must include in our top of the best Wimbledon looks.

The first we saw her with was the white shirt-style dress from the British firm Suzannah. This look definitely corresponds to the 'less is more' principle that the Duchess of Cambridge usually follows to the letter. In addition to the black buttons, Kate chose to accompany it with a few more details in the same color: an Alexander McQueen belt and a bow that she wears as a nod to the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club.

The second that she wore in the last edition of the Grand Slam was a dark green Dolce & Gabanna dress that she had previously worn during her tour of Canada with Prince William. The tight-fitting, short-sleeved suit with gold buttons and the same bow above deserved to be exhibited once again, this time in the women's final of the tournament, which she enjoyed with the Duchess of Sussex, her sister-in-law, Meghan Markle .

We have saved the best for last. The fabulous pastel blue dress she dazzled with is from one of her favorite designers, New Zealander Emilia Wickstead. Although it is difficult to find a dress that does not fit your figure, this fitted at the waist goes further with a midi flared skirt and short sleeves that seem to be turned in the most elegant way possible.
