Donald Trump hospitalized: why Melania did not want to visit him
Hospitalized at the Walter Reed military center, in the suburbs of Washington, Donald Trump, tested positive for Covid-19, will not receive a visit from his wife, Melania, reveals NBC News this Sunday, October 4.
This Friday, October 2, Donald Trump announced that he and Melania had tested positive for Covid-19. While the couple had been quarantined at the White House, the president's health rapidly deteriorated, forcing him to be hospitalized at the Walter Reed Military Center, a hospital complex in the suburbs of Washington which for more than a century, heals the American presidents. A most luxurious hospitalization during which the head of state should not receive a visit from the First Lady, informs NBC News.

While the slightest displacement of the presidential couple requires the mobilization of secret service agents, Melania Trump refuses to put the lives of the latter in danger. "She has the Covid," said a White House official on Saturday, October 3, before continuing: "This would expose the agents who would take her to her husband's bedside, but also the doctors who would take her to him". A precautionary principle that his husband ignored.
Donald Trump, "crazy" and "irresponsible"
This Sunday, October 4, Donald Trump, against all expectations, granted a small visit outside the establishment where he is hospitalized to greet his supporters. A controversial exit that outraged Internet users, but also its doctors. James P. Phillips, who works at Walter Reed Military Hospital, protested on Twitter: "Everyone who was in the vehicle during this completely unnecessary outing will have to be placed in solitary confinement for 14 days. They could get sick. For political representation. Under Trump's orders, they put their lives in danger for the cinema. It's madness! ", He wrote, before explaining that" the risk of transmission inside the vehicle is as great as if Donald Trump went outside without health precautions ", and to conclude by recalling" the staggering irresponsibility "of the American president.
Every single person in the vehicle during that completely unnecessary Presidential “drive-by” just now has to be quarantined for 14 days. They might get sick. They may die. For political theater. Commanded by Trump to put their lives at risk for theater. This is insanity.

That Presidential SUV is not only bulletproof, but hermetically sealed against chemical attack. The risk of COVID19 transmission inside is as high as it gets outside of medical procedures. The irresponsibility is astounding. My thoughts are with the Secret Service forced to play.
