Harry and Meghan sideline Amazon after signing with Netflix
The Dukes of Sussex cancel their presence at some events scheduled to support the Invictus Games after signing on Netflix.
The recent millionaire agreement signed between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle with Netflix begins to condition some of the couple's activities. To begin with, their presence at some public events has been affected. Last week, the couple announced their absence from a hitherto unavoidable appointment for the protagonists: an act of the Invictus Games, the sports competition created by Harry herself in which veterans and war wounded participate.
According to British media, with whom the couple has been following the brawl since before their departure from London, one of the protagonists' lawyers contacted the organizers of an event scheduled for next summer last week.
Buckingham should review any agreements signed by Harry and Meghan Markle
It was a music and comedy show that was scheduled to take place in California in June 2021. It was to be broadcast on Amazon and Harry and Meghan were expected to deliver speeches. Organizers hoped to raise at least a million pounds for the foundation. Beyonce and Ed Sheeran were among the guest stars to perform at the event. Since the foundation, the event has been put on hold until further notice. They have alleged problems derived from the Covid-19 pandemic that affects the entire planet.
But some sources consulted by the British media also reflect other issues. They say that the agreement signed with Netflix could have led to important changes in the events scheduled by the Invictus Games. To all this is added the inspection procedure opened from Buckingham Palace. Because when the couple disconnected from their royal obligations, they signed an agreement in which any contract should be supervised by the legal services of Queen Elizabeth II.
