Incumbent candidate Donald Trump lost in the United States Presidential Election. There were rumors that it was very likely that he would also lose his wife.
According to the Daily Mail, Former White House Director of Communications for Public Relations Omarosa Manigault Newman claims the couple's 15-year marriage has ended. "Melania is counting every minute until she's out of the White House and she can get divorced," said Newman.
Newman also said that if Melania tried to make the final insult and leave while Trump was in the White House, Trump would find a way to punish her.
Despite appearing cold in public on a number of occasions, Melania claims she has a 'great relationship' with her husband. Besides, he insisted that they never argue.
Trump's prenuptial agreement with his second wife Marla Maples prevented him from publishing any books or giving interviews that criticized him.
Attorney Christina Previte said it was likely Melania had agreed to a similar agreement.
Earlier, Melania reportedly cried when her husband won in 2016, with a friend saying: "She never expected Trump to win."
Melania had to wait five months before moving from New York to Washington, allegedly because the couple's son, Barron, needed to finish school.
However, his former aide Stephanie Wolkoff claims that Melania is negotiating a post-wedding agreement to give Barron an equal share of Trump's fortune.
Wolkoff said Trump has a separate bedroom in the White House and engages in transactional marriages.
