How Melania Trump Can Make Her Husband Lose

While Donald Trump started his race in a good position a few weeks ago, he is gradually starting to lose ground against his rival, Hillary Clinton.

Donald Trump has faced a lot of criticism since his candidacy was announced. The American billionaire, now Republican candidate for the White House, advocates an extreme policy, which does not only make people happy. However, part of the American population supports the businessman, regardless of the various scandals he has caused. In recent weeks, however, the Donald Trump phenomenon has been running out of steam. The billionaire accumulates mistakes and cannot count on his wife to fully support him.

Ex-model Melania Trump is now set to become the future First Lady if her husband wins the election. Studied closely by the media around the world, Donald Trump's wife has a series of blunders and communication errors.

False studies

On July 28, the site owned by Melania Trump was taken off the Internet altogether. The model very regularly published biographical elements, photographs or anecdotes about her past and her husband's campaign. Hours after the deletion of her site, Melania Trump took to Twitter to explain the reasons for such a move.

(The site in question was created in 2012 and has been removed because it does not accurately reflect my business and professional interests)

However, this excuse does not fully reflect the reality of the problem. Melania Trump had claimed to have a "degree in design and architecture from the University of Slovenia". Downside: the model would never have completed these studies. Indeed, she never mentioned such a diploma in the various interviews referring to her youth. According to the very serious New York Times, the young woman would have "quickly dropped out of architecture school to devote herself to modeling." In a country where lying is unforgivable, such a declaration is likely to weigh in the balance when it comes time to vote.

A past as a charming model

This is the second time in two days that the New York Post has dedicated its cover to Melania Trump. The tabloid has chosen to highlight the charming photographs taken by Melania Trump during her modeling career.

The photos used by the American newspaper were taken in 1995. Four years later, the model met Donald Trump, whom she would eventually marry in 2005. But at the time, Melania's name was Melanija Knavs. The 25-year-old regularly poses for nude photographs. These photos will be taken by a French photographer and published in the magazine Max, which has now disappeared. Donald Trump affirmed his support for his wife after the publication of the tabloid: "In Europe, photos like these are very fashionable and very widespread" he said.

The United States, however, is a very conservative country. Within the Republican Party, several voices were heard, criticizing the past of the possible future First Lady ... One more pot for the billionaire.

To copy is to steal

In the Trump family, scruples do not pervade everyday life. At the Republicans' convention, Melania Trump had to give a speech to the crowd in support of her husband. A compulsory exercise, which takes place in each party. However, the Republican candidate's wife was clearly not inspired. Several passages of his speech were thus literally plagiarized from the speech given by Michelle Obama in 2008.

First completely denied by Melania Trump's entourage, this plagiarism was later recognized as such. Speechwriter Meredith McIver reportedly simply rewrote lines Melania Trump said over the phone: “On the phone, she read me some excerpts from Ms. Obama’s speech as examples. I wrote them down and then included the phrasing in the draft which became the final speech. I haven't checked Mrs. Obama's speeches "

Melania Trump spoke in these excerpts about her life values, namely work, respect for others and for the word given. Melania was not solely responsible for this huge and obvious media blunder this time around, and the incident cast doubt on the reliability of the entire Trump couple's team.

An anti-Trump example

Since the start of his campaign, Donald Tump has made a series of promises going against the policies of migratory reception in the United States. He fiercely opposes the notion of the law of the soil. For example, regarding the granting of citizenship, the Republican candidate refuses to grant it automatically to children born on American soil if they are the children of illegal immigrants.

However, his wife is originally from Slovenia and obtained American citizenship in 2006. A specificity which goes against the convictions of her husband, and which risks marring a campaign based almost exclusively on the migration issue.
