"If the former First Lady remains married long after leaving the White House, she could renegotiate her marriage contract to obtain more," says even the New York lawyer specializing in divorces, Jacqueline Newman.
"Penalty clauses" for misconduct, Donald Trump's alleged affair with actress Stormy Daniels for example, could be included in this agreement, adds London lawyer Jannette Johnson.
Three years ago, Omarosa Manigault-Newman, former director of public relations for the White House, was already predicting the end of the presidential couple. According to her, Melania "counted every minute" before she could leave Washington and her husband.
As speculation rises, the Trumps have just celebrated their 16th wedding anniversary.
