Melania Trump Reveals Her Son Is Positive Covid-19, But Now It's Negative

The son of US President Donald Trump and Melania Trump, Barron, 14, was infected with the coronavirus, but has now been declared recovered. This was disclosed by Melania Trump on Wednesday (14/10/2020) in an essay about her experiences with Covid-19 published on the White House website. Launching Fox News, the White House initially said that Barron's test results were negative after his parents tested positive a few weeks ago. However, further tests revealed that Trump's youngest son was diagnosed with Covid-19. NY Post reported that, even though he tested positive, Barron had no symptoms or was asymptomatic.

Melania Trump said that when she and her husband were found to be infected with the corona virus, the first thing she thought of was Barron. "Naturally, my mind immediately went to our son. We were very relieved that the test results were negative. But again, as many parents have been thinking over the past few months, I couldn't help thinking, 'How about tomorrow and the next day,' wrote Melania. "My fear came true when he was tested again and the results were positive. Luckily he is a strong teenager and does not show any symptoms," he continued. However, Melania admitted, they looked after each other and spent time together, when both were infected with the corona virus. President Trump and his wife tested positive for Covid-19 on October 2, 2020. The examination of the two was carried out after Trump's personal aide, Hope Hicks, tested positive for Covid-19. Since then, more than 30 journalists, White House staff and Trump associates have been diagnosed with the virus.

Melania experienced only mild symptoms, while Trump spent several nights at the Walter Reed military hospital. "I had body aches, coughs and headaches, and felt very tired most of the time. I chose to take a more natural path to treatment, preferring vitamins and healthy foods," said Melania. Meanwhile, at a campaign rally in Pennsylvania, October 13, 2020, Trump said he felt like a "superman" after his experimental treatment with the anitiviral drug Regeneron. Melania ended her essay by advising Americans to live healthy lives. In addition, he confirmed that he was negative from the virus and was trying to resume his duties as soon as possible. "Along with this good news, I want people to know that I understand how fortunate my family is to receive the attention we do. If you are sick or if a loved one is sick, I think and will think about it every day," wrote Melania.
