Why doesn't anyone want to be Donald Trump's neighbor?

If no one wants him as a neighbor in Palmb Beach, why did Trump decide to leave New York?

On January 20, at 12 noon, Donald Trump stopped being the president of the Americans to be former president. Early he left the White House along with his wife Melania Trump for his new home located in an exclusive area of Palm Beach where he has one of his properties.

A few days later it was learned that, like the neighbors of his eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., the residents of Mar-a-Lago, the place where the 45th president of the United States will live from now on, they are uncomfortable with his arrival.

The reason? There is not one reason in particular, but many. Some residents of that place allege that security may be affected, others question Trump's actions. The truth is that the vast majority of the neighbors disapprove of his stay in that place.

Everyone in America knows where Palm Beach is and what it means: the place where billionaires live. An area full of security cameras and especially tranquility, which could be compromised with the arrival of the most controversial president in recent times.

The most powerful families throughout the years have passed through Palm Beach. The Rockefellers, Carnegies or Kennedys lived in that exclusive sector and just as a businessman or any celebrity is a magnet for cameras, paparazzi and the general public, Donald Trump is even more so.

The world will continue to be attentive to the movements of the real estate magnate and former president of the Nation, mobilizing countless people to the streets of Palm Beach and keeping other residents worried that something greater could happen.

But why did he decide to leave New York? Donald Trump owns several properties and it is presumed that he did not choose to live in Palm Beach by chance. It turns out that Florida is one of the states where the least taxes are paid in the entire United States, a point in favor for the tycoon and also for his finances, since he will be able to continue amassing his fortune.

Another reason that probably determined this decision is that, as is widely known, Florida is predominantly Trumpian, so much so that last Wednesday a large number of Republican supporters welcomed him with great fanfare upon his arrival.

Bikers of the ultra QAnon movement, truckers, private vehicles, hundreds of people accompanied the caravan of the Trump family to his new residence, welcoming him as the hero of recent times. "I've driven almost two hours to be here and support my president," said truck driver Mike Reynolds. A story that was repeated over and over again that day, as many supporters were from other states in the country.

The arrival of the former president and his family to Mar-a-Lago produces a deep rejection among the residents of the area. Well, it should be remembered that the controversy did not arise last Wednesday, but rather comes from long ago. The building with more than 100 rooms was owned by Marjorie Merriweather Post, one of the richest women in the middle of the last century, who passed away in 1973 and whose wish, written in the will, was that this residence become the house of winter for the ex-presidents of the United States.

I wish that clearly was not fulfilled, because years later, in 1983, Donald Trump bought the 7-hectare farm for 10 million dollars and later turned it into an exclusive club. The registration fee to become a member of the private club is $ 200,000 and has not been without controversy.

In December the Republican held a party there, the cover was $ 1,000 per person and more than 500 guests attended.

Due to this event, the neighbors sent a joint letter addressed to the intelligence services and the county explaining that Donald Trump cannot reside in Mar-a-Lago for legal reasons. "Palm Beach has many other charming properties, surely you can find one that meets your needs," says the letter that was structured by the lawyers of the wealthy DeMoss family now neighbors of the ex-president.
