Harry and Meghan, the first TV interview (with Oprah Winfrey) after the farewell to the royal family

The Sussexes have not had time to announce the birth of their second child and another bombshell arrives: they will grant the powerful Oprah Winfrey a "very intimate" interview in which they will talk about everything, including Megxit. With all due respect to the queen

The eyes of the world are increasingly on Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle. If the bombshell news that the two will be parents again was not enough, now another explosive news has arrived: the Sussexes will grant their friend Oprah Winfrey the first television interview after their farewell to the royal family. The special, titled Oprah with Meghan and Harry, will be broadcast in prime time on March 7 on CBS. And as a statement from the American broadcaster announces, the Sussexes will talk about each other "widely" during the chat.

Oprah will talk to Meghan first about her about her entry into court, marriage, motherhood, her philanthropic work and how she handles the pressures of a life with the spotlight on her. The two will then be joined by Prince Harry, to discuss the Megxit, the move to the United States and the couple's future goals.

The choice of the interviewer is not causal. Oprah, in addition to being one of the most powerful women in America, is a longtime friend of the Sussexes, so much so that she attended Harry and Meghan's royal wedding in May 2018 at Windsor Castle. And since the dukes have lived in Montecito, California, she's also their neighbor. The African American presenter is also collaborating with Prince Harry to create a mental health docuseries for Apple TV +.

Elizabeth II's reaction to the news that her nephew and his wife are ready to blurt out all their private affairs on TV is not known. Although it is reasonable to assume that her Majesty - she has always used to wash the (royal) dirty clothes in the family - she is not jumping for joy. Instead, the reaction - sarcastic - of part of the British press is there for all to see.

Meghan has just won the legal battle against the Daily Mail and the Mail on Sunday, which she sued for invading her privacy by publishing excerpts from the private letter sent to dad Thomas in August 2018. It is logical that the two newspapers, now, they cannot help but remark how much the foretold and "very intimate interview" fights with the privacy that the dukes of Sussex have always demanded.
