Tiffany Trump responds amid allegations that her father is ashamed of her weight gain
The daughter of the US President has retaliated by accusing her father of telling his aide he was ashamed of his weight.
Tiffany Trump has issued a confidential response to the violence over her father's alleged allegations of weight gain.
Tiffany, 25, posted a quote on her Instagram news by ancient philosopher Rumi amid allegations by a close aide that Donald Trump was ashamed of his daughter's weight.
The 25-year-old, who is the only child of the US President and his second wife Marla Maples, posted a quote that appeared to urge viewers to look beyond hypocrisy.
“I have read without hesitation, you will never know me,” he wrote.
“Because I am 100 times different from what you think I am.
“Put them behind my eyes, and see me as I see myself. Because I have chosen to live in a place you will never see. ”
This comes after US Vice President Madeleine Westerhout was forced to resign from her job at the White House on Thursday after bragging to reporters that she had a better relationship with Trump than her daughters Ivanka and Tiffany and that she did not want to be seen in pictures.
The remarks were allegedly made at an unofficial dinner on August 17th.
Trump also reportedly said Trump "couldn't pick Tiffany out of the crowd."
Trump described the comments as "absolutely false".
The US president appeared to be in control of the situation, telling reporters he was in love with his second-born daughter.
According to The Sun, he said: “She will be calling me when we get to Camp David.
“I love Tiffany. He is a good man and hard to learn. ”
He praised Westerhout's expertise, saying he "always does a good job" but added that his comments "hurt him a little" for him.
He also referred to Ms Westerhout's agreement on "absolute enforcement of privacy", adding, "she is a very good person and I don't think there would be a reason to use it."
Westerhout, 28, was seen as an important ‘gatekeeper’ to the President, who was in charge of foreign advisers and was able to reach Mr. Trump.
In an interview with the Washington Post in 2018, Trump said: “Madeleine is key. She is confidential. ”
In February this year Westerhout blew up an unknown person who disclosed three months of Mr. Trump's nomination to the media.
He wrote on Twitter at the time: “What this doesn't show with hundreds of calls and meetings @realDonaldTrump takes every day.
"This POTUS works harder for Americans than anyone else in recent history."
Trump married Maples in December 1993 but they divorced in 1999 and were separated for two years.
Tiffany was raised by her mother in California.
