The US president was not approved in regard to his immigration policy, as 53% disapprove of his performance

On the eve of the 100 days of Democrat Joe Biden's rule, Americans approve of his administration with more than 50 percent.

In polls that various media outlets have done on the issue, President Biden maintains fairly solid approval ratings for the way he is handling the country's top priorities, with marks especially strong in the pandemic and the launch of the vaccine.

According to a poll published by ABC and The Washington Post, 53% of adults say they approve of his work, while 42% disapprove of managing it.

On the handling of the Covid-19 pandemic, an item on which its approval is based, 63% rate it favorably and 52% approve it in the management of the economy.

On the other hand, Biden was not approved when it comes to his immigration policy, as 53% disapprove of his performance.

Data is not what it seems

While the president of the United States, Josph Biden, has more approval than his predecessor, Donald Trump, during the same period (10 points higher), his numbers are not encouraging when he compares himself with other presidents.

Biden's approval is only slightly higher than that of two presidents: Donald Trump, 42 percent and Gerald Ford, 48 percent.

An outstanding fact in the aforementioned poll, maintains that 6 out of 10 people want Biden to co-govern with the Republicans in Congress and not with the small majority of him as he or has done.

However, a detail to take into account about the survey is that the majority of respondents are assumed to be Democrats, 33%, and only 24% were Republicans, and 35% were independents. DJ
