"I don't care, do you?" : Mélania Trump's jacket is controversial
During a visit to the Mexican border this Thursday, June 21 to meet undocumented children, the First Lady of the United States Melania Trump wore a jacket with the inscription on the back: "I don't care, and you? ”prompting stunned comments.
But what did she mean?
In the midst of the controversy surrounding Trump's zero tolerance for undocumented minors separated from their parents, this was certainly not the most appropriate outfit for this visit to the Mexican border.
First Lady of the United States Melania Trump caused an uproar on social media when she arrived at an illegal children's shelter in McAllen, Texas, wearing a khaki Zara jacket that read "I really don 't care, do u? " ("I don't care, do you?").
Social networks immediately ignited, which did not prevent her from wearing the same jacket in front of photographers on her return to Washington, however.

Hillary Clinton: "this is a moral and humanitarian crisis"
Michelle Obama: "sometimes truth transcends party"
Melania Trump: "I really don't care, do u?"
His spokesperson assured that "there was no hidden message" behind this inscription, annoying at the commotion over the jacket. "If the media spent their time and energy talking about her actions and efforts to help children - rather than speculating and focusing on her wardrobe - we could accomplish so much for the sake of children # She cares about it # It's just a jacket.
Today’s visit w the children in Texas impacted @flotus greatly. If media would spend their time & energy on her actions & efforts to help kids - rather than speculate & focus on her wardrobe - we could get so much accomplished on behalf of children. #SheCares #ItsJustAJacket

But Donald Trump himself came to contradict her, claiming in a tweet that his wife had in fact meant to talk about "the media" Fake News "
Like a snub, Melania Trump got off the plane that brought her back to Washington in the late afternoon with the famous jacket, and was still wearing it when she arrived at the White House.
Unless the message was actually addressed to her husband ...?
