Kate Middleton and Prince William: the reasons for their breakup
Just days before the birth of their first child, a book reveals why Kate Middleton and Prince William separated in 2007. In his book, "Kate", Michael O'Mara explains that at the time, the Prince William often partied with "glamorous half-naked girls". The drop of water that would have scared the future Duchess was reportedly a series of photos, showing Prince William in suggestive poses, accompanied by several girls at parties.
The book's author explains that in order to recover from the breakup, Prince William focused on his homework, getting involved in charitable work, as Kate Middleton traveled with her mother and took advantage of her friends. But the separation only lasted a few months, and Kate Middleton and Prince William ended up formalizing their relationship through marriage four years later.
A king or a queen?
Today, Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge prepare to welcome the future King, or the future Queen of England, the gender of the baby having not been disclosed. His title, however, was formalized by the Palace. It will therefore be necessary to call this royal baby His Royal Highness Prince or Princess of Cambridge.
