Kim Kardashian sued by former employees
Seven gardeners and maintenance workers accuse him, among other things, of late payments, unreimbursed expenses and unpaid overtime.
Kim Kardashian bad boss? Seven of her former employees filed a complaint against her according to TMZ reports on Monday, May 24. Gardeners and maintenance workers accuse him of late payments, unreimbursed expenses, unpaid overtime, and no lunch break while working at his home in Hidden Hills, Calif. .
According to TMZ, one of the plaintiffs also claims to have been fired by the American reality star after asking questions about his rights. The latter's 16-year-old son, who was part of the staff, is said to have exceeded the number of hours allowed for a minor in California.
“Kim always paid”
Charges that surprised Kim Kardashian, who defended herself through one of her collaborators: “These workers were hired and paid through a third-party supplier hired by Kim to provide ongoing services (... ) She is not responsible for the way the supplier manages his business and the agreements he has made directly with his staff ”, argued the entourage of the businesswoman in the columns of Page Six.
He added: "Kim has always paid a supplier for her services and hopes that the problem between these workers and the one who hired them can be quickly resolved amicably."
Dealing with justice can in any case represent a life-size examination for Kim Kardashian, who since 2019 wishes to follow in the footsteps of her father, Robert Kardashian, by becoming a lawyer. She is currently studying law with the aim of passing the bar in 2022.
