Bill and Melinda Gates announce their divorce, but continue to manage their foundation together. Enough to fascinate both financial gazettes and the heart press. The founder of Microsoft had multiplied his activities so much that it could make his divorce more difficult to settle than that of Jeff Bezos.
Bill once explained that after dating for a year, they had to make a choice: "either break up or get married." Bill is binary, that's normal for a computer scientist. In a statement, the two-hearted Bill and Melinda Gates call on the public to give their families the "space and privacy" they need to be able, they say, "to adapt to this new life."
