Queen Elizabeth II has chosen her side: Charles and William more important than Harry and Meghan

Disappointed by the behavior of Meghan Markle and Harry, Elizabeth II now prefers to focus on Charles and William, a source revealed to MailOnline on Tuesday, April 20.

Enough is enough ! If she has long shown indulgence towards Harry, her favorite grandson, Elizabeth II, annoyed, ended up turning her back on him. As the Duke of Sussex has returned to the UK to attend Prince Philip's funeral, the Queen is "in no mood" to hold a family summit, a source reveals to MailOnline, as quoted by The Mirror.

"Disappointed" by the behavior of Meghan and Harry and their recent interview with Oprah Winfrey, "the queen made it clear to her advisers that she was on Charles and William's side". And the insider clarified that "there is a lot of pain and suffering on both sides, so this reconciliation will be done in stages." If Elizabeth II seems to have drawn the line on the Sussexes, Charles and William are on their side ready to add water to their wine.

Harry summoned by Charles and William

If Harry, confined to Frogmore Cottage, was unable to see his relatives again before the Duke of Edinburgh's funeral, a family reunion was subsequently arranged. The Duke of Sussex, under pressure, thus welcomed his father, the Prince of Wales, his brother William and his sister-in-law Kate Middleton, informs The Sun. Away from prying eyes, they were able to exchange for about two hours. Explanations which however did not have the desired effect since "Harry felt outnumbered".

However, this discussion, if it did not lead to an armistice between the two enemy brothers, it was not heated either. "Unless Harry brings up Oprah. The last thing you want is to have an argument after a funeral," said Ingrid Seward, editor of Majesty. A first step towards reconciliation?
