She is believed to be in favor of the South Florida resort where the Trumps reside, and that she goes unnoticed, making no official public appearances.

Trump infamously remained living in Trump Tower in Manhattan, New York, for months after Donald Trump's inauguration in 2017, and lived in a suite of separate rooms during the time the couple were in the White House.
CNN also reported in December that Melania was eager to leave the White House and "just wants to go home."
By comparison, her husband has made several appearances in the media and in person after leaving office in January.
