Conservative activists boo Mike Pence at Florida conference
Some attendees at a Florida conference for conservative activists interrupted former Vice President Mike Pence during a speech Friday.
A few attendees yelled, "Traitor!" While Pence was speaking at the Faith and Freedom Coalition's Road to Majority Policy Conference at a resort in Orlando. Pence ignored the screams and reviewed his speech.
“It's great to be back with so many patriots, dedicated to faith and freedom and the path to the majority!” Said Pence.
At least one of the intruders was removed for security reasons, according to the Orlando Sentinel.
Many supporters of former President Donald Trump have angered Pence after the former vice president said he did not have the power to overturn Democrat Joe Biden's election victory. During the assault on the Capitol on January 6, angry protesters chanted, "Hang up Mike Pence!"
