Elizabeth II: What she would really think of Meghan and Harry's attitude

Queen Elizabeth has finally said what she thinks of Meghan and Harry's behavior. And according to a royal commentator, she does not appreciate their many media interventions at all.

What if we finally knew how Elizabeth II felt about Meghan and Harry's attitude? Almost three months after the broadcast of the big shock interview of the Sussexes on CBS, here is that the feelings of the queen are finally mentioned. As a reminder, Archie's parents told Oprah Winfrey that they were unhappy within the royal family, that Meghan had been the victim of racism by her Majesty's entourage, or that William and Charles were prisoners of their role. Confidences which caused a stir and which could annoy Elizabeth II.

Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams told The Daily Star, whose comments are relayed by The Mirror, that Meghan and Harry's allegations have had a profound impact on the cabinet. "The Queen realized how unhappy they were, but to express themselves they didn't have to express themselves that way," he said. And the one who buried her husband last April did not really appreciate this media outpouring: "She found the way the Sussexes handled things was deplorable."

Harry's "puzzle"

While he has decided to make his life away from the royal family, in Los Angeles, Prince Harry still gives them a hard time. According to The Sun, the soon-to-be-daddy of a little girl has expressed his desire to attend Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee celebrations next year. A request that would be a "new puzzle" for the royal family. The celebrations will run from Thursday June 2 to Sunday June 5, 2022. There will be a grand banquet and events at Buckingham Palace to mark the Queen's 70 years on the throne. And the presence of the Sussexes is scary. "Where will they be positioned? What events can they attend? Are we going to put them on the balcony of Buckingham Palace for the flypast?" So many questions that arise, but it is nothing compared to what bothers the Buckingham teams: "This is a celebration of the Queen's 70 years of service to the nation and it should not be eclipsed."
