Prince Harry in England: why he will not see his father, Prince Charles?
Now is not the time for a reunion between Prince Charles and his son Harry. Days before the Duke of Sussex’s arrival in London, “The Sun” reveals that no meeting is scheduled between the two men.
On July 1, Prince Harry will join his brother William to commemorate what would have marked the 60th birthday of their mother, Diana Spencer. A statue will be erected in his honor in Kensington Palace Gardens. However, it is impossible to ignore the great absentee of this tribute, on which the two brothers have been working since 2017. According to a source relayed by "The Sun", Prince Charles would not have planned to see Prince Harry when it will return temporarily to England. A deliberate choice?
THE AVOIDANCE STRATEGY?
The tabloid said the heir to the throne will be traveling to his Scottish estate of Balmoral, 400 kilometers from the ceremony in honor of his missing ex-wife. "Charles has made it clear that he will not be there ... because he is going to Scotland," a source told the British newspaper, who continued: "There is no meeting scheduled between the three of them. While William and Harry kept their exchanges to a minimum when organizing the tribute, the Duke of Cornwall would rather "let the boys take care of it," added another source.
It will be an express trip for Prince Harry, who was originally scheduled to make the round trip during the day. The "Daily Mail" finally reveals that the Duke of Sussex could set foot on his native land earlier than expected, in order to respect a ten-day isolation, in compliance with health measures. As with his arrival for Prince Philip's funeral, he will stay at Frogmore Cottage, where Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank will welcome him.
