Now, a prominent author has made strong statements about the couple, stating that Prince Harry "is a much less intelligent person" than Meghan Markle and "accepts what she says" because he is "desperate to please his wife" .
Those are the words of the British writer Lady Colin Campbell, 70 years old and born in Jamaica, who wrote the best-selling biography of 1992, Diana in Private: The Princess Nobody Knows, to the British magazine OK! as she publishes her new book Meghan and Harry: The Real Story.
Lady Colin Campbell assures that the Duke, 35, and the Duchess of Sussex, 38, who currently live with their son Archie in Los Angeles, "have a very strong relationship", but that Meghan is the one who wears the pants because her husband is "very much in love with her."

"In my opinion, Harry is a much less intelligent character than Meghan," said the author from her home in Castle Goring, Worthing in Sussex.

Lady Colin also told the publication that Meghan's ambition "always" has been to outshine Diana.
The socialite also believes that the American former actress has mishandled the situation and that her new search for fame in Los Angeles "will not take off" in the way that "she thinks she will."
Lady Colin also recently stated that she believes Meghan has political aspirations and hopes to one day run for president.
The author has given several interviews about the couple in recent weeks, including one with The Sunday Times in which she said Meghan had "wasted" the "most wonderful opportunity" by leaving the royal family.
She also said that signs that Markle would "not adjust" well to her life as a royal were noticeable shortly after her wedding to Prince Harry in May 2018.
Furthermore, she believes that the move from Sussex to the United States is part of the plan to make the shift to the political sphere.
"I know the Duchess of Sussex has political ambitions and I have been told that one day she wants to run for president," said Lady Colin.
"I think everything she's doing, like leaving the royal family and returning to California, is part of her plan and has taken Harry with her," she concluded.
